We borrowed these very special and very old stick puppets from a friend who scored them from an estate sale. These quirky puppets are made of paper mache and have some interesting mechanisms that allow the head to move in different directions when you pull a string. They are visually inspiring and may serve as the spark for some future paper mache projects.

This is opening night during our 1st kid art gallery showing. I walked away with this masterpiece entitled "Television with Horns" for a mere $100 in "funny money".

DIY diorama holiday ornaments
QUICK TUTORIAL:
1. Get thee to PAPER_SOURCE for these hollow sphere ornaments! You can also purchase online here: WWW.PAPER-SOURCE.COM.
2. Collect small toys or odds and ends that could be part of your mini-diorama (little people, glass menagerie, plastic doo dads, cake toppers, etc).
3. Paint, glue and decorate to your hearts desire!! I used ceramacoat for paint, and craft glue gun to adhere toy parts inside and outside the spheres. Glitter and fake snow are also great fun to work with - albeit incredibly messy.

LITTLE FRIENDS
We recently shot this photograph of KUKUNEST Little Friends bedding set at my house. And all because a week before, I scored that pink iron headboard at a second hand store for $12 buckaroos.
Anyways, kukunest is a little company that Laura Mameesh and I started a few years ago to satisfy our itch for unique and lovely bedding for kids rooms.
